# National Biologics Facility (NBF) > Australia's national facility for recombinant protein and biologics production, based at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN), University of Queensland, St Lucia, Brisbane. NBF produces recombinant protein for research, industrial and therapeutic use, from research-grade protein supply through to Phase I clinical-grade drug substance. National Biologics Facility (NBF) supports academic and industry clients developing monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), radioligand therapeutics and radiopharmaceutical precursors, recombinant vaccines, Fc-fusion proteins, bispecifics, nanobodies and therapeutic enzymes. Beyond therapeutic programmes, NBF routinely produces research-grade and reagent proteins, antigens, recombinant enzymes, and diagnostic and structural-biology targets for academic, industrial and government users, with no requirement to progress to clinical development. NBF is a node of Therapeutic Innovation Australia (TIA) and is supported by the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS). Operations run under an ISO 9001 quality management system, with Phase I clinical-grade manufacture up to 50L at PC2.
