New South Wales Node

The Biologics Innovation Facility (BIF) is a training and production focused facility located in The University of Technology in Sydney. The facility’s flexible design includes a series of cleanrooms and laboratories housing state-of-the-art bioprocessing and analytical equipment. BIF is the only bioprocessing and teaching facility in Australia and South East Asia to deliver the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT) curriculum alongside hands-on practical experiences in a GMP-Lite environment. This offers a unique opportunity for biotech companies to upskill their workforce locally. Housing a suite of single-use bioreactors, chromatography systems, filtration systems, and analytics equipment, BIF provides a platform for biotech companies and academics to accelerate and scale up their projects through tailored process development, manufacturing, and analytics services.
